We are seeking a UK Director to lead, sell, and scale our next growth phase.

The Role

The UK Director will primarily be responsible for building and leading the UK business — driving growth through sales and new client acquisition, business development, and delivery excellence across our service domains.

You will act as a market-maker, leading strategic pursuits and cultivating senior client relationships (C-suite and board level) to open new doors across innovation-driven industries.

As a member of the Riverflex Leadership Team, you’ll shape the company’s commercial strategy and play a key role in evolving our AI-powered consulting model.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Sales Leadership

  • Drive market growth by developing and executing a go-to-market strategy across Riverflex’s core domains — Strategy & Transformation, Data & Intelligence, and Technology Risk & Compliance.

  • Build, lead, and convert a high-value sales pipeline driving revenue growth through strategic relationship management, market insight, and consultative deal leadership.

  • Shape and evolve AI-powered propositions and industry-specific offerings in collaboration with the Riverflex leadership team.

  • Lead key client pursuits — from origination to proposal to closing — ensuring alignment between client needs and Riverflex’s value proposition.

  • Advise senior clients on strategic transformation, data, and AI initiatives, positioning Riverflex as a trusted partner for intelligent transformation.

  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to ensure excellence in delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term client accounts growth.

  • Co-create marketing and sales collateral with the Marketing team to strengthen market visibility and impact.

  • Identify emerging trends, partnerships, and inorganic growth opportunities to expand Riverflex’s footprint and capabilities.

Client Leadership & Retention

  • Take accountability for client satisfaction and retention, ensuring long-term trusted partnerships.

  • Act as a senior client advisor on strategic transformation, data, and AI initiatives.

  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to ensure client needs are met with excellence, agility, and measurable impact.

  • Lead client relationship stewardship sessions and ensure strong follow-through on engagement success.

Team & Capability Building

  • Build and lead a core consulting team in the UK (approx. 5–10 people in year one).

  • Coach and mentor future leaders, fostering a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial culture.

  • Collaborate with Riverflex’s global network of consultants (“PROs”) to deliver flexible and scalable project teams.

  • Support the professional development of sales and consulting colleagues by sharing expertise, tools, and go-to-market insights.

Financial & Strategic Accountability

  • Deliver against agreed revenue and margin targets.

  • Participate in company rituals like annual business planning, sales forecasting, and performance reviews.

  • Contribute to Riverflex’s global business strategy as a **Leadership Team Member**, influencing both commercial and cultural direction.

Job requirements

About You

You are an experienced and entrepreneurial consulting leader with:

  • 15+ years of experience in consulting, consultative sales, business development, or technology-enabled transformation.

  • A proven track record of driving multi-million-pound sales and building new market propositions.

  • Deep expertise in AI strategy, data transformation, or digital consulting; additional experience in tech risk or cyber is advantageous.

  • Strong UK network and direct sales experience with C-suite stakeholders (CTO, CIO, COO, CFO).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and influence across a matrixed organisation.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, resilient, and commercially astute.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and international leadership engagements.
