Your role as Senior TA Partner - Data & AI
This is not a traditional delivery-only recruitment role. You operate as an entrepreneur within Riverflex -owning your market, building your brand, driving revenue, and acting as a trusted strategic partner to both clients and candidates. You will work in a 360° recruitment model, combining delivery excellence, business development, and thought leadership within the Data & AI ecosystem. Business development responsibilities may be lighter in the first months, with increasing ownership as your pipeline matures.
Market focus
We are specifically looking for someone who:
Has strong knowledge of the Dutch market (highly preferred, not mandatory)
Has experience hiring in the UAE / GCC region (strongly desirable), with understanding of:
Talent dynamics in the region
Freelance/interim hiring models
Cross-border hiring complexities
Has exposure to or understanding of the UK market
Speaks Dutch fluently (highly preferred)
Is based in the Netherlands (preferred) or UAE, or open to relocating to the NL
Key responsibilities
🔄 Recruitment delivery
Own end-to-end hiring across Data, AI, Automation, Engineering and I&D profiles, permanent and freelance/interim, from intake through close.
Manage 5–6 concurrent roles across NL, UK and UAE with structure, speed and zero corners cut.
Source proactively via LinkedIn, CRM, talent communities and events; build pipelines before you need them.
Bring real market intelligence to every hire - compensation benchmarking, candidate motivations, I&D talent dynamics.
Deliver a premium candidate experience: interview coaching, consistent communication, process that reflects Riverflex standards.
Navigate freelance hiring in the Netherlands, including WetDBA, or show a genuine drive to get up to speed fast.
🌍 Business development
Contribute to commercial negotiations and placement agreements; work toward personal billing targets as your pipeline matures.
Map and develop the Data & AI talent market across NL, UK and UAE - identifying new opportunities and building key accounts over time.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, hiring managers and C-level stakeholders; position yourself as a trusted strategic partner, not just a supplier.
Develop a visible personal brand within the Data & AI ecosystem - through thought leadership, events and market insights that put Riverflex on the map.
🎯 Talent Ops & process improvement
Identify inefficiencies and implement AI-native solutions across recruitment workflows - automation mindset, not manual tolerance.
Own pipeline reporting and metrics: time-to-hire, conversion rates, placement data.
Improve hiring manager and candidate experience through structured onboarding, clear communication frameworks and feedback loops.
Contribute to the evolution of Riverflex's Talent & Community unit into a revenue-generating Talent Advisory model.
Who you are
A specialist Data & AI recruiter: You have a proven track record placing talent across Data, AI, Automation, Engineering or Product roles, ideally with experience in agency, embedded, consulting or founder-led recruitment environments
NL market-savvy: Strong understanding of Dutch hiring dynamics is highly preferred. Experience hiring across UK markets is a real asset; UAE/GCC coverage is a bonus.
Already based in the Netherlands with 2–3 days per week in our Amsterdam office - or genuinely open to relocation
Dutch-speaking, highly preferred. English at C1 minimum is required.
BD-ready: You have a commercial mindset and comfort operating in a revenue-driven model. We are looking for an entrepreneurial or account talent partner background. If BD is new to you, that is fine,what matters is that you are genuinely excited to grow into it.
AI-fluent: You actively use AI tools across your workflow, you understand the tradeoffs between tools at different stages of hiring, and you can speak to how AI has made you more efficient
An independent thinker: You offer strategic advice to stakeholders, not just execution. You design the process, not just follow it.
Structured and entrepreneurial in equal measure: You run tight processes, but you are not rigid. You take ownership without being asked, and you bring solutions.
