About the IAM Transformation Program
Our client, a leading multinational organisation in the retail sector, is undertaking a major IAM (Identity & Access Management) transformation program across its Belgium and Southeastern Europe (BeSEE) region. The program aims to modernise, standardise, and secure identity and access management across all brands by transitioning to a centralised IAM platform.
To support this critical transformation, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive business-facing activities related to application discovery, migrations, and IAM capability rollouts across the BeSEE region.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst – IAM Transformation, you will play a key role in aligning business requirements and facilitating application discoveries and inventories with the technical roadmap. You will be responsible for supporting the migration of applications to Microsoft Entra ID and the transition from current identity management systems to the new IAM target state.
You will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring the transformation is executed securely, smoothly, and in compliance with both internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Application Owners, and Engineers to plan and coordinate migrations with business teams.
Conduct impact assessments for application migrations to Entra ID and the target IAM architecture.
Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
Lead communication with application owners regarding:
Application discovery activities
Migration of applications to the new IGA platform
Data requirements for decommissioning of legacy systems
Coordinate the completion of application discovery templates by:
Following up with application owners
Scheduling meetings to facilitate data collection
Providing clarification and guidance on required inputs
Work with business owners to validate and update ownership information for applications, especially where existing records are inaccurate.
Continuously engage with business stakeholders to ensure their needs are reflected in migration and transformation planning.
Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, and migration-related materials.
Support risk assessments and contribute to defining mitigation strategies for migration-related risks.
Guide business users through the change process via training, support, and clear communication.
Monitor and report on the progress of migration activities, identifying and escalating blockers or issues as needed.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within IAM or broader IT transformation programs.
Experience in gathering and managing business requirements and translating them into functional documentation.
Familiarity with IAM technologies and processes such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity Governance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in stakeholder management within complex or matrixed organisations.
Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
Fluency in English.
